Essentials for all Fits
In collaboration with drvgon.ball we will be breaking down the essential basics for a staple filled winter wardrobe.
Part 1
Drvgon.ball: T-shirts are essential for the fact that they’re easy for many different fits. T-shirt’s hit different, the print, the length of sleeve the neck line can also impact the style. But my go to is definitely a loose fit short sleeve crew neck. Perfect transitional item, great on its own in summer, perfect layering item in winter. Again T-shirt quality is paramount.
Carlaurelie: Now THEE perfect T-shirt has to be an Skims fits everybody T-shirt. Try one on before throwing up and shaking over the price.
Drvgon.ball: Long Coats! Y’all see this coat? Is what you should be thinking when you get that winter coat that last you for many a winters to come. Currently I’m on a oversized Parker and puffer style get up. Length for practicality but also to make you feel like you Ye in these streets. A really good quality coat goes a long way.
Carlaurelie: Ideally the trench coat is seasonal and can be layered upon or beneath.
Drvgon.ball: Trousers. The battle with finding the right fit tailored trousers is real, especially if you got a lil hip or thigh. However the hustle is worth it. When you do, you can go from business, to date night to casual with the change of your upper and accessories. Never underestimate the power of some good trousers. I’d like to throw in some good denim is also essential. Good cut, good colour denim goes a long way to uplift your fit.
Carlaurelie: The perfect pants for me will always be a pair of joggers; Now if Kanye has already conjured up the materials for the Yeezy perfect jogger… I’m begging his ass to drop it.
Drvgon.ball: Birkenstock’s. if there’s one thing your wardrobe needs is some birks. They give your feet a break from tight shoes. I think the wide fit also helps your toes move free and help prevent bunions (not cute, even at 60)
Carlaurelie: Yeezy slides are God’s gift to flat feet. That or crocs, believe it or not you can dress them up as well as down with good thick pair of socks.
Drvgon.ball: A pair of boots, my go to being my Dr Martens. Whatever style you go for or prefer make sure they’re a staple and can work it’s your wardrobe and style. Note boots are seasonless, none of that it’s too hot, look cute or die trying.
Carlaurelie: As a Bottega puddle advocate and the fact we live a very wet England. Creating a little fun in your wardrobe during a un fun season.
Drvgon.ball: Hoodie’s with different fits. Put yo hood up y’all. Hoodies are the it girl. Depending of the fit and styling can give smart casual to cosy street. The versatility is real. Also invest in good quality that’ll last you more than one winter. Wear more, buy less.
